Ok ok ok ok. I'm freaking out right now because I was stupid and forgot that there wasn't a tampon already inserted in my vagina and then put another one in. The 2nd on came out fine, but the 1st one is lodged way up there. SERIOUSLY. I tried to pull it out and the string must've gotten attached to the tampon and the more I tried to get it out, I kept pushing it back further and further. Now I can barely reach it with my finger.

Does the vagina just push it out? Or should I go to the hospital? It's really embarassing I know, but I need help.

Go to your doctor - They can get it out for you. It's quite common but you must get it done immediately as it could lead to toxic shock syndrome

The tampon should work it's way back down far enough that you can pull it out. If it doesn't, you still should be able to reach in and get it out without having to visit the ER. Relax your muscles, relax your body and try to pull it out. If the tampon is "stuck" inside for more than 8 hours, then you should go see a doc, but more than likely as it absorbs more and more it will work it's way down so you can get it out.

Hey...relax girl..u gotta relax..
Take a deep breath.. and cool down..
Dont worry nothing worse could happen ...thats just it, its stuck..
What u need to do is, calm down..
When ur all calmed down, try again to pull it slowly and calmly..
Try sitting on the toilet (potty).. and pull it slowly..
or get a friend(if u can stand the embarrassment)..to pull it..

The secret to pulling a stuck tampon is, to not panic and do it in a relaxed way, this way ur vagina and whole of the clunching area would ease up and this would open up ur whole system down there.. U gotta relax..

Now if say u feel no progress from pulling it when sitting on the toilet(a position where ur like goin for a ***t)..
Then id advice u to go to the hospital..
U cant leave it in there right?

So try it..slowly.. maybe put some lubricant would also help ..

Take it easy..takecare..

Ciao!

Go to the hospital ASAP! You do not want to get TSS, and get an infection. Having a tampon up there can make you really sick. Don't be embarrassed, I know a girl who had a hot dog stuck up her vagina and that's embarrassing! So go, it will be fast and over soon enough.

This happened to me once. I managed to relax and kind of 'push' it out, or at least far enough so that I could reach the string. However, it is dangerous for it to stay in you fr too long because of toxic shock syndrome - I would make an emergency appointment at the doctor or go to a hospital outpatients clinic.

GO TO YOUR HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM AND HAVE THEM REMOVE IT FOR YOU...You wouldn't be the first one to have gotten a tampon stuck in their vagina....They've seen it many times before....Especially from young inexperienced girls......I would do it right away because you risk getting an infection if you wait too long,....and that would be a hell of allot worse than having the tampon in you.....DON'T BE EMBARRASSED..... It happened to my ex-wife and 2 of my girlfriend told me that they did the same thing....When my girlfriend did it , she waited so long that she didn't remember if she took it out or not.....What made her realize that something was wrong was she began to stain and the discharge was really gross smelling....The doctor knew instantly what she had done, Removed it in 2 minutes ,and Put her on antibiotics to prevent any infection from forming in her vagina...And sent her on her way......GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM OF YOU NEAREST HOSPITAL OR GO TO YOUR DOCTOR.....

Go the the emergency room right now. If you are embarrassed ask for a female RN or Doctor. You will get very sick if you can't get it out. Research toxic shock syndrome. It is serious!

Have a doctor remove it if you're unable to remove it yourself. Can cause infection. Try some kegel exercises, maybe you can push it down some and then reach it. Otherwise, go have it taken out. You're not the first woman to have that happen.

Calm down hun. Call your doctor, your gyn if you have one. Don't be embarassed to say what happened over the phone. They will tell you if you should come the doctors office or go the the hospital. It's going to be ok.
