I would like to get back my hat, which I've left accidentally there...so where is that stair house?

I would like to go to the moon but not to stay. There is nothing on the moon, not even air or available water the fundamental ingredients of our life, everything that I love is here on Earth.
It would be one heck of a long climb. Carrying your belongings would be another burden. You cannot complete this climb in one shot. How and where will one rest? The moons distance is 250,000 miles. If you can walk 10 miles a day then it will take 250,000 / 10 = 25,000 days, or 68 years. You will not be able to make it!
I would rather spend those 68 years with my family and friends.

Talk about your silly questions. Why stairs when we can get there via rockets? There would need to be about 3 billion steps to get to the moon and climbing it would take more than 95 years at a second a step.
Why would you want to live on the moon? What to bring? How about everything that we have right here including oxygen, water, and pornography.

I would like to go to the moon for a visit, but it would take a long, long time to climb a stairway to the moon, so I'd have to do it after I retired. As to what such a traveler should take along, an air supply would be a really great idea.
