Amphibia and Reptilia are two different class of animal kingdom.
You can separate each individual amphibians and reptilians by their species names.

Yes! They are separated as far up as class. Reptiles are in the class Sauropsida, amphibians are in the class Amphibia. They are very, very different from each other.

Species is a different matter - frogs and toads are different species. By definition, species are...well, specific!

Two reptiles can be of different species. Two amphibians can be of different species. Reptiles and amphibians are two different animal groups.

Both are different categories. Amphibians can live both in water and on earth, eg: frog, where as, reptiles are entirely different group of animals and can only find them on earth, eg. lizard etc. However one or two species of reptiles also live in salt water.
