2005 Impreza with 60,000 highway miles. I am worried more problems will be on the horizon. I have a 1989 Camry never had an engine problem.

you wouldnt have had the head gaskets on the subaru blow if you would have shut off the car just when it overheated insteded of driveing it untill it quit its not the cars fault
the car is a good one and will go a long time as long as you dont overheat it or run it out of oil

As long as the head wasn't warped or no damage to cyclinders then you should be OK. I would do a compression check on it and make sure that your rings didn't get cooked. If compression or power is down on the vehicle I would get rid of it

did u overheat it?? no reasion a head gasget.should go...do you trust the repair shop?.. id get rid of it...sounds like you will b driving around with it in the back of your mind...don't do it to your self... why worry???
