My dad just bought me a laptop for graduation and i don't wanna screw it up... is this a good virus program...it's the one that comes pre-installed and i have a 3 year subscription

Works just fine, only thing beware on gaming , I have windows vista and had pre-instaled games on it from Dell. even so I picked a vired from gaming in dell spyfree games . And mcAfee was abel to contain it so yeah it works fine.

I'd go for it you've got 3 free years of service with McAfee. For general uses protection 8.0 is just fine, so long as your not just make sure that you set it to automatically install patches and upgrades.

No it isn't a good AV program.
Dump it and get AVG Antivirus it is much better and most importantly completely FREE.

Search AVG Antivirus.
P.S. Don't forget to uninstall McAfee before you install AVG
