I quit smoking on Feb. 2 and haven't had one since. It was hard at first but I took a new medicine called Chantix that really helped. I don't really drink so that is not an issue. I really need to work out more to keep my heart healthy.

ABSOLUTELY...

I am actually Quitting tonight at 12:00 hrs. Midnight

Which makes it Jun 1st 2007.

I need all the help I could get from all around me...

You asked the RIGHT QUESTION at the RIGHT TIME...

Jesus..I can't believe I AM ACTUALLY DOING IT, but I know I am a Man with the IRON WILL....

I promised to quit, and I'm doing it....

Thanx 4 this unanticipated, yet ON-THE-SPOT & encouraging Question.

I needed it.

My quit day was May 15th. Then my quit date was May 22, then May 29, today we'll just call it "cut down" day.
If you are young (teen-early twenties) and have been smoking for less than ten years, QUIT RIGHT NOW!!! Had I known how bad it is for you when I was 18 (or 22) and how easy it would have been to just quit right there and then......oh well, maybe I can pass my experience on to others.

P.S.: I hate ppl who hate ppl.

No, not really. I never really got into smoking, I would just have an occasional cigarette when out at a bar. But now that that is not allowed, I do not smoke at all.

Well, I've tried not to be around people who smoke since my grandpa died of lung cancer in '97. I've never done drugs, and have just drank small amounts of alcohol. Never enough to get drunk.
