Is it the avatar/picture or what they have to say? Do you think you have a grasp of the person's personality, or at least aspects of it and does it give you an idea of what kind of person they are?
I think its a combination of the visual and reading the person's Q and A, the rest to me are subtle things but when we add them up, I think we can sometimes get a kind of sum total of the individual. What do you think?

the grey ones are usually new people
the yahoo ones tend to look alike - and then the name is important
the photo / cartoon ones are the most creative
and its a brand - so you shouldn't keep changing names / pictures or you confuse people.
in the end i like the fun questions / answers

Sex certainly sells; no two ways about it. So, a scantily clad attractive female image will grab my attention. Can't really read anything into it; would have to know if it genuinely was that person for starters. Reasons why someone would put such a photo when it is not them are manifold ranging from a cruel need to deceive to a harmless bit of fun.
You can certainly have a field day reading meaning into people's words. Again, though, the reasons can be many and you can be radically wrong. To some it is a bit of light relief and may be completely different to their usual personality. At the end of the day, if you are so inclined, it can be very interesting trying to get a handle on others (some, rather defensively, will be offended to find out that you study them).

Nothing special just approach them and start a conversation. I have never had a problem with approaching a female and getting her attention. After starting the conversation I would just let her know that I was interested in her, and would like the opportunity to get to know her better. Maybe ask her out to dinner and a movie. Something of that sort. Regardless I will always be me, a gentleman and a scholar. BTW, my dimples never hurt either. LOL

When I see that someone has an actual photo of themselves as their avatar it gives me the impression that they are confident and comfortable with themselves.. Perhaps a bit more social. Of course, I don't think the opposite of someone if they don't have a photo.. They may just be too lazy to upload a photo, or just don't care. I also like to read the Q and A's.. Tells you a lot about the person, whether they're angry, silly, smart, serious.. Most of the time people are a combo though.

Whether or not its a real picture and if it's their real picture. I pretend they are all real, until I find out otherwise. I hate the cartoons, they all look the same to me...

i have a few favorites, i like the 'Satan' one, that one is funny, i like yours, i like Joshua Kane, and judging from the links on his info, he looks like his avatar and i like mine, because i do look like that!
