Yes to Both.
I was down south and desperate to get north.
I saw this turnip truck heading North on I -95. So I climbed on into the back. But when he pulled onto I -40 W. I was gonna jack that truck.
As I was climbing over the side to get at the driver's door ...my feet were slippery from stepping on too many soft Turnips ...and I fell off.

WELL, I LIVE IN THE SOUTH, SO YES I HAVE SEEN ONE. AND FELL OFF OF ONE WHEN I WAS 12.

of course I've seen one, hasn't everybody. i've never fallen off one though. i lurve turnips.....cooked, raw, in greens with salt, with sugar and butter
