You gotta go with my man Dr. J. Julius Erving. The greatest dunker of all time was definately the best player in the 70s. There will NEVER be another player like him. He is an amazing player.

Spud Webb because he was an inspirational player. He was one of the shortest players in NBA history measuring only 5 feet 7 inches tall. Yet he could dunk and could make stunning plays on big defenders. Not one of the great defenders however. However, this guy could dunk even though he was short!
