She had her frontal lobe removed, but she is just normal still. No change. My question is when she goes into labor, will this cause stress on her brain? She is 35 weeks pregnant now.

I can't think of any reason that it would be a problem. I would encourage her to talk in detail to her doctor about it. Offer to go with her to take notes and then you can hear first hand as well for your own peace of mind.

Labor will not cause stress on the brain. Most of the stress is focused around the uterus and the organs that support it like the heart and lungs.

I'm so glad your daughter's surgery was successful!

She had a lobotomy?

Has she asked the doctor how labor will affect her brain? Maybe if her insurance won't give her a hard time she should visit a neurologist, she can always insist on a referral.

I don't think she should worry, I really don't feel that labor will affect her brain, it will affect her bottom half more!!

Although I'm not sure about this answer in the least I know that each person is different. You should speak to your daughter and her doctor. I'm sure he explained the risks to her if there were any.
