how soon before labour did you get the show?

at what stage in your pregnancy did you get the show, and is this your first baby or substiquent? also what colour was your show and how soon after did you go into labour, sorry about all the questions rolled into one!

I didn't get my show until I was in labour. I got mine about 8 hours before my son was born. This was my first pregnancy.

Hi, with baby number 1 and 2, I had a show around my due date but was 14 days late with 1 and 5 days late with number 2 (both natural). With baby number 3, i had 3 shows and no labour, was taken in to be induced 11 days late and with baby 4 I had no show and was 11 days late, induced again! The colour of the show is usually just a bit of blood.

I had my show with my first daughter in the first stage of labour and with my second one about 2 days before i went in to labour but everyones different

i am 37 wks pregnant and i had my show on 15th may, yes over two weeks ago and i am still hanging in there. this is my third pregnancy but with my second child i had my show 13 hours before she was born, so you can imagine how disappointed i am this time round.my midwife said you can have a show 3 to 4 weeks before labour actually starts. good luck.

I was exactly 36 weeks, im now 36 weeks and 5 days. and still no labor lol. Im 80% effaced, and dialated to 1-2. This is my third and longest baby LOL. my first came at 36 weeks and my second came at 35 weeks. Im almost 37 weeks and still going strong! Its frustrating!! Mine was clear and gooy, and didnt have blood in it, like some peoples do.

I usually contract for two days where they are somewhat regular, but not at all painful, and in the second day, they get painful, and it really kicks in..During that time, the show does start, because your cervix is opening, and doing it's job..It usually starts out just clear, but alot of it, and as things progress, it get's blood tinged and then Im in full blown labor...

Usually, women see bloody show just before labor starts (like 24 hours or less) or when labor has already started.

My show was pinkish in color and always started after active labor had already begun.

I have been pregnant 3 times.

for this baby, i lost my mucus plug in bits at 29 weeks, then the whole thing at 33 weeks, i'm now 36 weeks and nothing. i never saw it with my first pregnancy.

i was in the early stages of labor...like having contractions while it was coming out...it was clear/pinkish with tiny specks of red. went into full labor about 20 hours later

I never got the show. My water broke and was pinkish and my labor started. My friend got it exactly one week before labor. Her's was greenish and she described it as "like a snot".
