If me & my husband both wear women wedding bands. We had one of those cheap ghetto weddings with a judge and we didn't have a wedding ring at the time. I was jus wondering if it was ok because my husbands incarsarated and I didn't know what to get him since I bought our wedding bands online with his credit card. (matching ones, there exactly the same just a different size) Its really thin though. Only 2.5mm. He says the other inmates tease him all the time because its hella small but my husband is a small asian man. He is the same height as me only 5'1'' and he's hella skinny. I feel kinda stupid. I bought it over a month ago and it has scratches on it so I can't return it. Do you think its ok?

thats really up to him. you cant make him wear it. would it hurt you feelings if he didn't? tell him how you feel, understand how he feels. i'd say if it bothers him, tell him to take it off and work on buying him a more masculine one.

The only difference between men's and women's plain wedding bands is the ring size. If the other inmates didn't tease him about that, they'd find something else to tease him about.

A ring is only the smallest part of your love for eachother. Do what feels right. Actually i think your story is rather sweet.
People get caught up in too much "material" crap.
The only thing that matters in life is LOVE
not MONEY!!

It's the thought that counts. He should stop worrying about what all those jailbird punks are saying and ignore them. Maybe they are just jealous because he has a wife that loves him.
Don't worry about it. Tell him to stop worrying about it. He has bigger issues to think about...like how the heck he is going to get his crap straight so he does not go back to jail.

The only problem I can see, is that he's surrounded by INMATES. People like this are all about street cred and crap like that. What you did was very sweet. Screw them, after all, they are in jail, now aren't they?
