The most obvious physical sign of ovulation is seeing lots of cervical mucus for at least a day or two. This fertile mucus is really stretchy and looks like egg white.
Other women notice mild cramping, light spotting and pains in their abdomen (different from cramping). Sometimes your basal body temperature will dip down. It will NOT rise. That happens after you ovulate.

When I ovulate I no this as I tend to get pains in the lower part of my stomach on each side. Also I get discharge from down below for at least a couple of days & it's not an infection.I've been through the IVF process before in the past & because of this it has helped me to recognise when I ovulate. Also best way is to count down 10 days from the start of the first day of your period & if you hope to get pregnant have sex from day 10 to day 18.You can have sex every 2 days or if possible every day from day 10 to day 18 is better.Hope this helps you.

Not all women feel the same when they ovulate. I can actually feel it. It's not quite a cramp, but almost a dull pain. Also, my temperature increases a bit. And of course the obvious discharge.

not all women know when they ovulate, because they don't have signs...but for those who do, light cramping is usually a giveaway...and a temp. dip.
