I love the thunder ! I sit at my window and watch and listen to thunder storms , its great , my kids love them too now :)
P.S. I am soo jealous , no thunder here in Edinburgh !

I love it. When a big storm comes through the area, I pull up all the shades and love to listen to all the sounds and watch the way the rain looks hitting my window. The sound of the thunder is the best when its huge and loud and is followed by lightening.

It's nice & different specially in Miami that's so sunny & hot. A little change is always nice. And for some reason I find rain & thunders to be bit relaxing it gives me a feel of protection & shelter. I sleep really well when it rains, it gives you an excuse to stay in bed a little longer.

I adore a good thunder storm, the bigger the better. We haven't had a good one for ages though, last year, I think.
We - Sunderland - had one bolt of lightening accompanied by the obligatory peal of thunder (singular) at the weekend.
Today however, it has been very sunny and warm since it started getting light at 3am.

Yes and to accompany the thunder is the falling rain though not necessarily so.

I love it to pieces, its one of my fanatsys to walk through the thunder and lightning hand in hand with the one that I love, i think it would be so peaceful in some way (has anyone else noticed that it tends to get quiter when its thunder and lightning?)

i love thunder and lightening,
when we get bad storms i stand in the kitchen in the dark with the door open watching the rain and lightening, listening to the thunder. usually having a glass of wine.
my boyfriend thinks i'm mad !

i used to love thunder and lightning but my telehone cable was struck while i was on the phone a few years ago not a good experience so no now i hide in the cupboard!
