I know I need motor mounts, could that be the problem of the jerking.

Needs to be looked at by a mechanic this could be any number of things ranging from front suspention issues, to exhaust problems, and everything in between.

Take it to a few shops and get quotes.

loose steering wheel
or bad tires
or bad suspension
or your driving
or windy weather
or bad alignment
just get it checked at the station

There might be fault in the engine or ur driving

either your transmission is slipping or your battery is corroded. id check your battery out and if its not that take it to the dealership to have them check the trans.
