Although Honda warranties are transferrable when you sell your car, I think that it depends on how long you plan to keep it. I got the extended warranty because I knew that I would keep my car for at least 8 years. Also, keep in mind that you can haggle over the price of the warranty. My wife and I got $100 off of the price, plus an additional 2 years by haggling. Good luck!

YES!!!! I have a Honda and I love Honda and yes they are reliable, but everything seems to wear out when the warranty goes and Honda is very expensive to replace. I just bought a Pilot and from now on in my life on any car I drive I am going to buy the extended warranty. I got burned on a jeep a few years ago with the transmission. I wish I would have had the ext. warranty. But that's just me.

I wouldn't with a Honda, they are very reliable and come with a good warranty. I have a 2000CRV and never had a problem with the tranny, rear diff or A/C. Just do your maintenance on time and take care of it and it will treat you well.
