My friends and family would say definately "I can't believe it" and if I ever broke the law and was on tv, I would be really embarrassed!

It really depends on what I was arrested for. Like if it was for smacking someone upside the head, they would most likely say something like, "I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner". But if it were like armed robbery they would most likely say, "I can't believe it".

we are somewhat shocked but then again she has always walked to the beat of a different drummer. we are sure there is a perfect reason why.
It has to be that she was helping someone as that is her m.o.

It depends on the crime. If there is a punchline to what I did, then they'd probably not be shocked.
