We learned this in camp when I was like 10. Don't ask me how I remember:

"As I was walking down the street one dark and dreary day,
I came upon a billboard, and much to my dismay,
The sign was torn and tattered, from when it stormed the night
before.
The wind and rain had done it's job and this is what I saw:

Smooooke Coca-Cola Cigarettes.
Chew Wrigley's Spear-a-mint Beer.
Ken-L-Ration dog food makes your wife's completion clear
Simonize your baby, with a Hershey's candy bar.
And Texaco's a beauty cream that's used by all the stars.
So, take your next vacation in a brand new Frigidaire.
Learn to play the piano, in your grandma's underwear.
Doctors say that babies, should smoke 'til they are three.
And people over 65 should bathe in Lipton tea...with flow-thru
teabaaaaaaags!"

Lol! It must have been something in the food...or the campfires.

To Nobody...That was pretty good. I never knew there was a different version of it. And I went to summer camp in Pennsylvania.

To firespider....Kumbaya was the other one I remember, but not all the words. Probably because it was so slow and it was the last song we did before ending the night.

I remember the camp song words differently. It may be a result of changes in the words over the years. Maybe is because we are from different regions. I am in Michigan, do not know where you are from.
