Why do we keep finding reasons to celebrate the silliest things? I mean with the whole no child left behind it must have been tough passing the fourth grade. No disrespect to you or your grand daughter. I just don't get it. My boys have some sort of party every week at school where they get hopped up on sugar then come home flipping out.

Webkinz
HOW TO GET ONE.
Go to your local Hallmark store. They are always there. The prices are really cheap and it is worth it. It's an unbeatable deal! The webkinz dolls cost from $6-$10. And the pack of webkinz trading cards ⢠are from $2-$3. Good Luck!âºâ»âºâ»!

4th grade? I've never heard of that.
How about a car? =)
If it's an issue of her already having enough toys, how about a gift certificate to a book store? Fandango some movie tickets, take her out to a special dinner, bring cupcakes for her class to share. There are so many things you could do, and 4th graders are not hard to please when it comes to presents!

I think an electronic language translator would be nice. She's at the age now where learning foreign words and phrases would be fun, and it may get her interested in being bi-lingual--a necessity these days. My step-daughter is learning her fourth language at age 19. She took an interest in Japanese (she's now fluent) when she was in fifth grade, and had five years of German in school.
www.stuffonline.com has a 20 language converter starting at $80.
Hope this helps.
Keep smiling :-)

Girls that age tend to be into accessories...purses, hair clips, shoes, costume jewelry. I reccomend stepping into a Claire's Boutique at your local mall. Something like a book or a keepsake stuffed animal would be a good choice too.
