I am the opposite, I don't like girls having masuline names but I like boys having feminine ones. I know a man called Kim and I think it's a lovely name for a man. I also like Kelly for a man (think the gorgeous kelly Jones from Stereophonics)!

yes, Some people don't consider this a girls name but I had a guy friend named Dana. Also, a guy friend named Carol.
I agree, it works better for women.

my name is for both girls and guys, but I'm a girl and ariel just seems more like a girls' name than a guys' to me.

Well I am a woman and my name is JEAN and it REALLY irritates me when people want to spell it the man's way GENE. My son's name is CAMERON and I know that's a boy/girl name.
What gets on my nerves is these celebrities and people who name their CHILD something so off the wall you don't really know if it's a boy or girl name.
