After having my OS reinstalled by a friend, im checking in the Device Manager and ive seemed to have lost my Dell wireless card.... cant find it anywhere... under 'other devices' i have 'Network Controller' with a yellow ? and ! next to it.(signifiying problem)
Does this have to do anything with the wireless card?
Any ideas?
Also, I try to update its drivers but get message that hardware couldnt be installed.....

yeah that's it. If you're trying the "Update driver" in the Windows Device Manager you will get a message like that since Windows can't see exactly what it it is. You need to get the driver from Dell if it came pre-installed. Their site is pretty good with their support -- enter your PC model and look for it.

Goto www.dell.com, support and punch in the 7 digit Service Tag number. (Under or back of computer), and it will list all drivers for that model .
