Ok, we know that the dual cores are top dogs but my friends and I will be having a LAN party and 4 old-timer single cores will be used along with an Athlon FX.

Anyway, please rate these in terms of fastest to slowest and why the said processor is the fastest. This is regardless of ram and GPU. Anyway, I'm interested to find out so that the bottom 3 will just be to souped up keep up with the 2. Oh yeah, this is without oc'ing.

P4 - 3.0 ghz
Sempron 64 3400
Athlon XP 3200
Celeron - 3.6 ghz

Thanks!

no overclock, hey I don't like that. The Athlon XP3200, Sempron, P4, Celeron. Thats just off the top of my head no charts. My P4 3.6 is OC and is fast as hell w/ 2Gb RAM, 400Gb HDD, 512Mb Nvidia and some other goodies. I also have an old P3 750 max'd on RAM w/ 60Gb HDD, running Windows 2000P that is incredible for an old machine. Also 3 other d/tops and a 386 Compaq laptop, Dell Inspiron 3.06 P4. I am pretty well covered but could use a new one. LOLOLOLOL!!!

Semp 3400
Cel 3.6

Unless the XP3200 is A Clawhammer If so the 512 Chip L2 cash will pop it to the top. Its still one of the sought after chips even though its been out of production for some time.
