I wholeheartedly agree!! and yes there is an ingenious device called a tv remote however all the channels have the same kinda **** on!! at least with BB it's only once a year! what is the deal with these bloody soaps?? everyday morning noon and night and then to add insult to injury they have a bloody omnibus!! but what really gets my goat bout BB and soaps and the like is the way people talk about them as if they actually know the person/character!! have people in this world so little else in their own lives they need this tv dribble to fulfill them?? it's sad what the world has come to when news headlines focus on BB and Soap storylines and the real issues that actually do affect us all are put to one side and ignored!!

I hardly ever watch TV due to a busy social life.
If I'm in, I'll scan TV listings in the hope for something interesting, educational and informative - and if there's nothing on I'll read a book.
However, I'm a complete BB addict, and have been glued every season. And this is a girl who watches maybe 2 hours of TV a week max.
I can't help myself with this programme, it's like an indulgence. So sorry hon, I have to disagree.... I think BB rocks :-)

Your TV licence only pays for BBC1 and BBC 2, which I am sure has programmes on there that you like but others don't. TV programmes aren't just made for you, they are made for everybody. Some like BB some don't, sorry if that offends you. I don't like the things on the BBC such as that Joseph thing, so what do I do? Turn over and watch something else, rather than sit on here and moan about it!

The TV licence is for the BBC channels. There is a thing called the "on/off" switch. I hadn't watched BB since the first ever series because I believe it should have been a one series show! The programme makers keep putting it on screen because they are waiting for ANY "contestants" to have sex on the show!!!

The only reason you "should have to put up with" hype about a TV show that I can even imagine, would be that you're taking care of a dying person, and that person MUST watch TV, and insists on that channel that shows whatever it is up there that bothers you.
I can't imagine any other reason for you to be forced to turn on the TV and listen to anything you don't like. Uh.....

With you all the way. Apart from the crassness of the 'contestants' and the vacuity of Davina McYell, it is tending more and more to the sort of spectacle the Romans put on in the Forum. How long before a participant physically attacks a fellow denizen? And that is only one step away from a death.
And would Channel 4 care?

I agree that it's a terrible show - I really don't know why people watch it. All you can you is try to avoid it. And just be glad that you're not a fan of the show - because for some people I think it becomes a bit of an obsession - so at least you're not as pathetic as those people that can't get enough of it.

I'm not a fan of BB but at the same time I'm not a kill joy. If other people want to watch it then let them, I'm sure you like things that I don't and vice versa, just let people get on with it. The world would be a very boring place if we all liked the same thing!

There is this little thing called a remote control, it has numbers and things on it, I find it comes in handy when something comes on the TV that I don't want to watch. It does this amazing little thing called 'changing the channel', you should try it some time!

I thought I was the only person who felt like this! I can't stand BB, think it is a load of rubbish. I tried watching it once as everyone goes on about how great it is and it was like watching paint dry.
