Hi Silkie,
I think of lots of things... the lack of freedom of speech in many countries, I want the freedom I have, for all people in the wider world. I think of political prisoners, hostages, child abuse victims. Youngsters who look after their parents because those parents are ill.

Then I wonder if I am doing enough to help instead of just standing by.

Then there are my students to think about, are they getting the support they need, how do I take my share in that.

I take in our planet and universe, because it is part of the whole picture, my search for the truth in how it all fits together.

There are my friends, always in my thoughts. My work, and am I giving my best.

Then, my need to be STILL and at the end of all the thinking, worrying, shut it all out and just take in nature and the
peace it brings, for I am one with it...

Good question Silkie, keep them coming!

Hi Silkie,
I of course I think with my brain but that's on days I don't take it out & play with it. Today I am thinking how will I ever stay up long enough to get my 8 hours in for work cause I've been up all night-reading, what to make for breakfast never mind those other meals yet, today is 2 for 1 at the bar, not to mention I need some $$ for weed, have to feed the fish, water the living plants, clean, etc.etc. it's never ending then when I do go to bed it's dream time & I try tto figure out what the dreams mean. Have a good day. :0)
By the way what U thinking about?

I look at things that are different and think why they are different, and how can they be the same, or if they are really the same with differences only in the manners of my seeing them; then I look a things that are similar, and think in what ways they are similar, or can there be an absolute similarity between two things. Then I see multiplicity in this world through variety, and I often ask – can something be absolutely different from another thing?

But the presence of both similarities and differences in my view remind me of one essential fact about my own being that nothing would be as it is if I were not the way I am – the more I see that all things are not all the same the more I know about myself, and more I see that all things, in fact, and in a way, are but the same the more I forget myself, and more I learn just to be.

I think about what I have done, what I am going to do, and what I would like to do, but never the things that I should be thinking about, like what I am doing at that particular time.
I think about things and ask myself questions which I can't answer myself, and no one else can either. I have about 3 different alter-ego s to run in my head and I'm always thinking about one of them - even in bed!

I mostly think about my family and my pets and friends. I think about their day, their welfare, the good times, the bad times. I think about spiritual things, metaphysical and God. I think about peace and all the stupid wars in the world.

Nothing.... I think and think and yet can't figure out what nothing is,,,, my imagination at best takes me to empty space, but no way can I imagine what nothing would be if it is not even empty space where something can be posited.

Well,
never something constant.
Every single minute I build a dream completely differant than the previous one.
It deives me crazy,
but it comes in handy when I write my poems.
