I was HORRIBLY disappointed! It was too much going on and too long. They could have made that one into two and spent more time explain stuff.

I loved it also...much much better than the second one. The multiple Jacks I say would have to be the best part for me! Okay so this is what I understood: 1. Will's father Bootstrap Bill is on the Flying Dutchman as part of Davy Jones' eternal crew. In the previous movie Will promises his father after he takes his place on the Flying Dutchman, that he will one day come back and save him. As Will soon learns in the movie though he has to make a choice between his father or Elizabeth.... 2. Will has no other choice other than to leave Elizabeth on the island...once he stabbed Davy Jones' heart he then becomes the immortal captain of the flying dutchman. That was the only way that they could save his life. Will does however has the opportunity to come back once every ten years to the same island to see Elizabeth. Ten years is a very long time tho. 3. In the end, they just showed what Pirates do best...they abandon their captain and leave without him...They have done this many times in previous movies. But he is Captain Jack Sparrrow. This part also sets up for another movie maybe one in which Jack sets off on another adventure to reclaim the Black Pearl once again. Hope it helps!

I thought the movie was funny--not always for the reasons the film makers intended, but I still laughed a lot. The movie is too long, the storytelling fails miserably at some points and the last fight sequence goes on forever! But Johnny Depp is still very watchable, Keith Richards is a hoot, Geoffrey Rush does a good job, and the love story has an interesting ending. If people go expecting a B- movie, I don't think they'll be disappointed. Don't forget to stay until the end of the credits so you can see the bonus scene!

I saw it two days ago, having read some dreadful reviews, and came out thinking that it was so much better than the first two! I loved it. The plot had so many twists and turns it really made you pay attention. The places they went were beautifully created and that fight scene towards the end was done better (and went a lot shorter) than any of those in the LOTR trilogies. It felt a lot shorter for me to watch than it actually was. I want to see it again!

Actually it is not that bad, the movie itself is quite funny. I have watched it yesterday, it felt that quite okie. I love that part when they were flighting and the boy proposed to girl. it was very romantic. :D
I am so sorry to hear that too.

Yes, sir, I did. The movie didn't work for me, and I found it massively disappointing. I was hoping that the third one would really be the best, but it was not meant to be.

nope, sorry. I loved it. But honestly, I just love POTC so much, if it had been the worst movie ever made, I am so biased towards it that I would probably love it anyways ;O)
I'm sorry that you didn't like it though.
