She seems uncomfortable to me. I think her husband controls all she says and does.

Listen hun....I totally agree with all the stuff that's been said concerning them leaving the children alone....but to lynch someone up for the way they look is just beyond reasoning....will we all have a witch hunt for a guy that has eyebrows meeting in the middle as well.....we have to be reasonable here.
If everyone in the public arena is getting a little uneasy concerning the McCann's behaviour....I can assure you the police will have already been down that road.....we cannot be hanging people simply because they do or don't look a certain way.

I think you'd probably look like hell through stress and worry on a 24 hr basis and lack of sleep, not being able to stomach any food or have little concern for your appearance or health.
The woman will have to live not knowing if her child is alive or dead, not knowing who took her and why? Having the most evil of thought of what could have possibly been done to little Maddie constantly drifting in her mind.
I'm surprised she hasn't had a nervous breakdown!

I know. I just can't believe that the abductor couldn't have chosen to take the child of a softer, fluffier person to make it easier on the British public. I mean, it's so unreasonable of Kate McCann not to make herself more appealing now she's in the public eye - you'd think something terrible had happened to her or something.

No, not stern & unapproachable. To me, she looks broken. Totally ridden with nerve racking guilt for leaving her babies, wretched & drained & miserable & as if she on the brink of some kind of breakdown. Shes wasting away. But i guess is trying to hold herself together for the twins.

I guess she is riddled with guilt of her selfishness of leaving 3 kids alone. A crime in this country for which you pay dearly.

She looks to me as if she is very much under Gerry's control.
She always looks at him before speaking, as if confirming his permission to say something. Possibly away from his control we just might see a different person.
