To the Voice Of Reason which world are you on obviously not the same one as us, what about corruption, cash for honours, hounding an innocent scientist to "suicide" (suspicious) because he said the truth. Peace in Northen Ireland! I would call that giving in to terrorists and then sitting next to them in Parliment and us mugs paying their wages, ( Crooks together). Nurses! ask the nurses how they feel when all their hard work is falling apart around them due to managers not having a clue what they were doing and then the managers awarding themselves bonuses for their incompetance. Education! what are you talking about? ask the teachers how low their morale is due to the lack of respect and the violence they receive in our schools, go on the streets and ask the elderly that's if you can find any as they are too scared to leave their homes. The Tax Credit Fiasco! What about the THOUSANDS that are worse off due to overpayments due to mistakes by the tax office. The poor are not richer.

Any country willing to give him adulation!!!!! For some reason Mr Blair believes himself to be of great standing in the world. He seems to misunderstand the word DISCREDITED!
Not to forget his wife...............who spent £8,000 on hair do's in one month of tax payers money!!!!!
Blair will end his "free world tour" at the European Council summit in Brussels on June 21-22, when Mr Blair is expected to sign the treaty reviving the failed European constitution, effectively selling us out to Europe. In doing so,it is expected that it will open the door for an EU President.................................I wonder who THAT might be!!!!!!!! We may NOT have seen the last of the egotistical Blair!!!

Tony Blair was never Prime Minister he was El Presidente of a country that was let down by him, so much so that it is economically broken. His chosen doctors of spin and ministers have made their money on the backs of the people. and now he is saying a long goodbye to anyone wearing blinkers and ear defenders that will listen to his grandiose speeches starting with "look what I have done". His self-satsified grin is evident as he grabs whatever he can in the way of "freebies" before he rides off in the sunset of the US to make his £10m+ from the gullible US citizens.

What's the bettinng he will end up in Europe with the other fat cats, ie Neil Kinnock, his wife and entire family. What a convenient place for Euan to find his niche at long last - poor boy - it much be difficult for him to deide which of Daddies openings are best.

I think Karen has got it just about right. As usual some answers are not answers to the question just political rants. Blair is simply 'feathering his nest' at the British taxpayers expense. Of course what people are constantly forgetting is that over the past ten years everything Blair has done has been hand in glove with Brown. So Brown's promises of change are just as usual hypocrisy.

Well the good news is hes standing down. the bad news Gorden Brown will be stepping in. the only way I can stay positive about this is that he will only be PM for a short time. Th Brits are starting to see sense now and would like there country back "New Labour" is a Marxist government and Gordon Brown is the worst of them. just wait and see. he won't last long

Yup couldent agree more
ME FOR PM do a better job with one hand tied behind my back!!!!
look at the fiasco surrounding the pay outs for people given infected NHS blood and those like me who didnt get a penny because some beurocrat with a well upholstered rear decided my life and hundreds like mine were not worth it and chose to play god with our lives.
Its about time this Govt took a reality check!
OUT WITH BLAIR AND BROWN!

At least in countries like Sierra Leone and South Africa he gets recognised for his achievements. Just look at the pathetic sniping, and worse, published in answer to this question.

And frankly, why should anyone have to put up with the inaccurate vicious Daily Mailesque comments posted by the likes of the insufferable Karen above.

Fred - "made things worse?", what about:

Tripled NHS funding, slashed waiting lists, more doctors and nurses, more police, more education funding, the minimum wage, tax credits, Sure Start, free museum entry, nursery education, peace in Norther Ireland, peace in Sierra Leone, peace in the Balkans - like it or not his Government have achieved these things.

Oh, and under Labour the poor have got richer - not Government spin, independent analysis by the Institute of Fiscal Studies.

Sorry if the FACTS don't quite accord with your rant.

There's not a single moment in British history when people didn't make those same accusations.
The fact is the economy grew hugely when Blair was in charge and standards of living rose considerably.
I'm not saying I'm a Blair supporter but I am saying that crime, the NHS, immigration, the youth and the rich getting richer are meaningless complaints that could be made of any society at any time.

Tony Blair, is the prime minster of Bahrain. His name can also be spelled Toney El-Balayr.

I love making this world a smarter place.

I agree. So much to add, but just thinking of Blair makes me angry. A traitor and a liar.
