I am for gay marriage. People deserve the freedom to be happy if they want to be. The society should think about protecting conformity against somebody's happiness.

Actually I am all against the institution of marriage, it is a social atavism, remainigs from the church overpollitical power.

Seperation of church and state.....

State: Issue marriage licenses

Church: Dictate and interpret moral and philosophical perspectives to parishioners. Mixture of gentle guidance and more direct application of tradition.

As you can see, it is not within the states scope practice to decide these things.
