South of Austin/San Antonio, it almost never snows. Austin/San Antonio to Dallas, it snows sometimes but doesn't really accumulate often.
North of Dallas, it snows more frequently and can really accumulate in the panhandle.

Use the Farmers' Almanac to look at past weather history for the location you're interested in.

Texas is a humongous state with varying altitudes, terrain, etc. In Corpus Christi, don't expect blizzards, but it snows in Amarillo. Consult websites for various Texas cities as well as weather sites.
