Thank you. I have 2 girls. When I was 16 weeks pregnant with my youngest my Doctor found a fairly large benign tumor on my left ovary. I went to surgery and had that ovary removed. I have a scar from my belly button down. I will never wear a bikini again, for sure. When i was 22 weeks along the Doctor diagnosed me with Hypertension and gestational diabetes. I had to take meds and have an insulin shot every day. When i was 34 weeks along, I went into early labor. I used no pain meds. I stopped progressing after 18 hours I was only 5 centimeters dilated, (10 cm being fully dilated) my blood pressure was 180/100 and i had a severe migraine. They had to do a c-section. After she was born the pain from the surgery especially the gas that builds up in your abdomen, was bad. I refused the pain medication and took only tylenol. I still got out of bed, and took care of my baby girl. One nurse told me I was a wonderful mom and that my acts were selfless. Meaning that despite all that I had been thru, I was still up and taking care of my baby girl. She was 4 lbs and 11 ozs. only 19 inches long. I had dressed her in preemie clothes. But I don't care what i went thru, or how much pain, or sickness, I'd do it agian in a heartbeat. Having a baby is the single most precious gift in life. Now I have a beautiful, healthy, energetic 6 year old. Thanks to God. And my husband for the blessing. Oh, and congratulations!

Thank you very much. I am 13 weeks pregnant and so far it has not been easy, with high blood pressure and morning sickness. However when my baby arrives it will be worth every minute of it.
Congratulation to your sister on the birth of Matthew. Well done also to you for being such a support to her.

aww aint that sweet congrats on your nephew! I unfortunately havent got a lot to say on the matter, my body has failed me 5 times and I have had 5 c-sections. but its nice to hear a male realise just how much women do go through, some males can be quite unsympathetic. have a good week :)

You're absolutely correct. Thanks for acknowledging that. Men do not have what it takes to go through the 9 months of various aches and pains and then go through labor. If only they would appreciate us women just as much.
