From an educational point of view, Scopes’ trial did nothing to lift the ban on teaching evolution. Consequently, publishers removed Darwin references from high school textbooks, and evolution was not taught as part of the biology curriculum until the Butler law was overturned in 1967. As a direct result of anti-evolutionism, generations of Americans grew up ignorant of Darwin.
Today, the evolution debate still continues. Creationists continue lobbying to have the biblical story of creation taught in public school classes. Disclaimers were added to biology textbooks recently saying “evolution is a theory believed by some scientists, not fact.” Equal time arguments used by creationists and Intelligent Design proponents attempt compromise a fair balance of teaching evolution and creationism.
Since Scopes’ trial, the U.S. Supreme Court has made several important legal decisions regarding creationism and evolution. The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution requires that public schools remain religiously-neutral. In 1987, the Supreme Court ruled that creationism was a religious idea that could not be mandated in public schools. Essentially, creationism cannot be taught or given equal time in public schools because it is a particular religious belief, and the Constitution calls for a separation of church and state. Intelligent Design (ID) is no different, and is viewed as creationism in disguise (ID is not science!).
Alternatively, since all anti-evolution laws ended in 1968, public school teachers cannot be told not to teach evolution. Also, teachers are not required to read any disclaimer or to modify their teaching of evolution to accommodate a student’s right to religious freedom.
The issue of taxpayers having a say in public school education, as had led up to Scopes’ trial, was also addressed. The Supreme Court has ruled that no group can use the government, and public schools, to voice religious beliefs. As such, taxpayers having a say in what is discussed in textbooks and in the classroom is irrelevant.
School boards and legislatures across the country continue to debate how to teach students about the origins of life on Earth. Despite the recent Supreme Court rulings, as well as the fact that creationists have lost every legal battle since Scopes’ trial, creationism has nevertheless impacted how biology is taught. Evolution is the best, most accurate explanation we have for the variety we see in the living world, resulting from the research and experimentation of thousands of scientists for over a century. Nearly one hundred fifty years after Darwin’s theory was published, evolution remains good science, and to exclude good science is bad education.

Anthropic theory or Equation. Is the outlet premise for the arguments on random probability. And returned they can't clarify how the regulations of technological information may be a function of random probability. i replaced into examining this morning approximately how oxygen got here to be on earth, they suspect that it began with the formation of extra iron oxidation, yet precisely while and how and why. They admitted to no longer having a clue. inspite of the shown fact that it replaced into various hundred million years in the past. in step with probability via random probability they might have answer. Moses tells us that God labored on particular issues on particular days. What he did no longer say replaced into that they the place carried out. yet then It must be via random probability that Moses replaced into waiting to touch each and all the bases while it includes the creation of the Universe, it fits up with present day concept. And he yet 3,500 years in the past he did no longer have get right of entry to to all that we've get right of entry to to at present. particular it replaced into random probability.

It helped the cause for evolutionists because it brought a topic to the forefront that was on the minds of many secretly. Sometimes you have to fight based on your principals and not hang with the stauts quo. You may not be right, but who is right, the other guy. Who knows?

so glad you asked! The monkey men of our history are a shinning example of how science can become a communism of belief for something false supported only by blind faith that there can not be a God but only science.
Evolution was started by a LIE and will die a lie.
