Really dont know where he stands as he changes so often. He tends to tell his audience what they want to hear. He says he supports the troops but against the war and wants more money for defense. I watch and listen to him as I am from Illinois but to be honest he wont get my vote for a number of reasons. One is that he voted to give illegals SS benefits when they have never paid into the system.

http://www.ontheissues.org/senate/Barack_Obama.htm

That's a whole website about Barack Obama's policies.

You can also take some facts about him both ways. For example: Barack Obama is 45. This can turn into, "Barack Obama is only 45 and does not have enough experience to run the country." It can also be turned into, "Barack Obama is 45 and has already accomplished many things in his lifetime including ... He also will be able to sympathize with all age groups, due to his vested interest in the rights of children (he has two children), young adults (he used to teach them at the University of Chicago), adults in their 30s and 40s (he is one), and adults in the AARP generations (his parents)."

If you look at Obama's record, you can take the flip side of arguments that he makes (for/against abortion, civil rights, military action, etc.) in order to have both positive and negative aspects of Barack Obama.
