If you're not interested in Maths, forget it. Interest cannot be generated or created after you reach a particular age. Since you can use the net, I suppose that age is past. If you are genuinely interested in Mathematics, you can make learning easy by doing some activities like paper folding activities or the sort to understand geometry. The same type of activities can help understand other branches of math too.
If you have any doubt or anything you don't understand, ASK. It may be your teacher, the Answers community, your relative, whoever. You're not going to get better at math if you're afraid to ask for help with a difficulty.
Do all the problems in the textbook. Seek some books with extra problems which make you rack your brain. It'll help build up your application and analytical abilities. These abilities are essential for exams like NTSE, IIT-JEE, Olympiad.
You'll find that once you do these, within a year, you'll be school topper. All the above must be done regularly and diligently. Nothing happens overnight.
Most important of all, be patient. Many math problems are just tricky, not tough. You must keep trying till you hit the target. JEE, Olympiad and the sort require you to think differently in order to solve the problems.

Do regular practice with open minds and always remember formulas which you have learnt and you should know how to use that formula in the question and take every problem as a challenge.
