Who remembers what this meant? Does any one remember the GOP interpretation?

Actually it was 'fine tobacco' because 'Camel' claimed fame for having the finest 'Turkish Tobacco'. The young lady has an edge because she looked it up. I was really hoping to find someone who had it in recall.

I remembered Lucky Strikes but had to look up the Truman reference.

The actual motto was "Lucky Strike Mean Fine Tobacco", and was mainly made famous by George Fenneman, the announcer on the Groucho Marx show in the early days of television.
