Hi Stacey; there are two possible things that I can think of off the top of my head. First, it's very possible that the flow has just dripped in that direction so that you think it's from your butt. You could try wearing a tampon to make sure. If it really is draining from both places, then you should let a doctor check you out; occasionally small tunnels do form and join these two passageways, and that would need fixed.

Best wishes,
Cryllie

Honey, by any chance to you wear pads? Because if so, it drips all over down there. Sorry to sound gross. But, when you wipe, it looks like it 's coming from there too. Try taking a bath and getting all cleaned up and use a tampon for a day or so. Make sure it's big enough to handle your flow, so there is no leakage. and check again. If it still happens, you could have hemorrhoid's or something that could be causing that to happen. or if you are constipated you could be cutting yourself when you are straining to go to the bathroom. If none of that works call your local emergency room late at night, when it's not too busy and ask to talk to a nurse. She should be able to help you out. Don't worry, I'm sure your are gonna be fine. As we grow our body does some crazy stuff! Good luck!!!!!

I had endometriosis. Endometriosis is when endometrial tissue-- the tissue that lines the inside of the uterus and builds up the period blood -- is found outside the uterus. It can be found on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, bladder, and/or lower bowels. The tissue fills up with period blood no matter where it is in your body. So if you happen to have endometrial tissue on your lower bowels, it will fill up with period blood and flow out your anus when you have your period. Endometriosis generally causes a lot of pain and cramping. Endometriosis could possibly be your problem, or it could be something else. Whatever it is, it's not normal, so make an appointment with a gynecologist and get treated. If you do have Endometriosis you will want to get treatment as soon as possible because it can get worse and be extremely miserable.

Are you sure its coming out of your butt or is it that you are wearing a pad and the blood is flowing along your skin and then leaking onto the pad where your bottom is?
If you have bleeding from the anus then yes you should see a doctor

hey there, I'm a MD. Well, first thing: are you completely sure it comes from both sides?. One thing you should do is take a vaginal douche and after that take a mirror and look to your genital area. If it is true that it is coming from both sides then you must go to the nearest clinic you have because that is not normal. hope I helped you, don't delay what you can solve now...

I have never head of that. You should go see a doctor soon as possible. I don't see how the two would re-act to/with one another.

it may be endometriosis - where uterine lining appears elsewhere (like in your bowel). It's not that uncommon but you need to see your dr.

some of my friends have had this, it's entirely treatable, good luck.
