HELP! I just fixed a clog in my bathroom sink by taking off the p-trap (the u-shaped pipe) underneath it. I put everything back right and turned the water back on. When I turned on the faucet, I just get a little trickle of water!!

What does this mean? Do I need to retighten the pipe? Or do I have to have the water turned on a special way. When I turned it off, I noticed the knob was not turned all the way to the right. It was about part way. HELP!! I need water. I need to get to bed. My husband is going to kill me. :(

Now the water won't even shut off when I turn the valve! What did I do? Is it the valve that is broken?

when you took the trap off you may have hit the values under the sink that turn the water on and off. Check them and turn the values counter clock wise to open.

Try this: turn the handle back and forth but, don't put any pressure on it at all, you might snap it off. Back and forth lightly, try and free it, sometimes this works. It probably has corrosion in it. If it does free, have it checked out soon and get it fixed.

i dont really know, maybe its worth getting a plumber in for peace of mind, but try ring around a few for quotes FIRST as you may come across cowboy tradesmen.
