Do you think all the treasure in the pit has been recovered and if not, will it ever be recovered?

To date, nothing has been taken from the pit except a stone & a few gold links.
Many believe the Money Pit to be a hoax, and claim that the stone (which holds a cipher on it) and the links could have been faked in order to draw more attention to the island.
In any case, with today's technology it would be easy to detect any treasure in the ground. Some may argue, though, that the true treasure gained today would be in the people selling the island for $7 million.

I doubt there was ever a treasure there - - - methinks a clever pirate set everyone on a wild goose chase and he is still having a laugh at the great expense of time effort & money to uncover 'it.'
If anything is ever found it will be a well sealed chest and when it is openned here will be several larg dried turds.
