A nail? Velcro does not fix by friction, but with hooks and loops. A nail is held by the friction between the materials (fibers) it is driven through. Could also be a dowel (unglued).

Velcro. One of the most annoying sounds in the world. My ex had Velcro fastening house-shoes. If I went to bed first I would be woken by that ripping sound.
Some people think it's sexy. It has to do with tearing off your clothes in a frenzy.
OK Jaketee96, it^s not friction, but I smell a miss-translation here, probably occasioned by someone using an on-line translation program. They're not all they're illegal substanced to be.
