i guess its the same as slaughtering a cow for a hamburger, I mean its killing an animal. I think its just because whales are now an endangered species, while the cow is not. Im from New Zealand where whale hunting was a source of food back in the old days. Even though whales are endangered and the world is telling Japan to quit, the fact that they dont, is what makes people sad.
