I remember when I was pregnant, my doctor told me that if one of my older kids got the measles I was to stay as far away from them as possible. Even out of the same house. If you get the measles while pregnant it can be life threatening to your unborn baby. PLEASE PLEASE CALL YOUR DOCTOR ASAP!! And stay away from you other child. My doctor stressed this so much, it is very dangerous for the baby.

First, have you ever had a measles shot? If so, you are probably ok. You need to immediately check with your Dr. so that he can detirmine what steps, if any, need to be addressed.
Measles can be a very complicated illness according to the dregree. Fevers mean it is contagious, as well as open weeping sores. Stock up on anti-bacterial cleaning supplies.
Add a capful of bleach to your dishwasher's wash cycle. You may need to insist you see the doctor even sooner than your appointment date. The sooner he is aware of your situation, the quicker he can take steps to contain it.
My blessings are with you.

I know if you had the measles it would be cause for concern. Not sure tho, if you happen to be in an enviorment where measles are present. I'm glad you have a Dr appt. soon, so you can get professional answers. Good luck to you and your children.

You are not in risk if you had measles as a child. Second, embryo-genesis finished at first 2- 3 months of pregnancy. After this period baby only grow up and take a weight.

It depends on what kind of measles she has. And it depends on if you had them or was immunized as a child.
Please call your OB doctor in the morning.

I'd talk to your ob asap. I don't think you should probably be around your daughter, mild case or bad case is probably irrelevant. Your immunity is lower during pregnancy. Don't wait for your appt. Talk to them first thing in the morning. You should have asked the doctor that treated your daughter...
