No,why?You still think that?Lol! There is no such thing as evil music.And it is impossible to generalize when it comes to music nowadays,especially Heavy metal.There's all types of metal too.Doom Metal and Power metal.There' also Prog Metal and Black Metal/Gothic Metal,and ..yes..Christian metal..
By the way,Marilyn Manson isnt really 'Heavy metal' and he is not at all 'Evil'.Come on,you never knew the guy just did this stuff for shock value?And you know what?It worked.Now the guy is rich.Hah.

Not really, The really good heavy metal bands are just really angry and if you dont' understand it there's the chance you'll see it has evil or satanic, most of it isn't though and you'll find that the stuff that is meant to sound evil most of the time just comes across as really cartoonish and goofy :)

It all depends on how you interpret the music. If you listen to the song "Black Sabbath" by, well, Black Sabbath, there is alot of evil sounding stuff in that song: both the lyrics and the music have a creepy, satan-ish vibe. But there are people that are going to interpret that song as being "devil music" and say it leads them to the dark side, but there are also people that are going to say "Man, Ozzy has a crazy imagination when he is on acid...", and those people don't take the song literally. Just remember, it is up to you how you perceive the music....

music can't be evil, it's just music, i am a huge metal head and i know little kids that listen to heavy metal so it's not all that evil

Have you ever listened to Heavy Metal? It's not evil, it's all a marketing scam to sell records. I personally love metal and I have never once bought into the evil thing!

Only the people who think so are! "Oh my gosh! They are screaming! It is devil worship!" Bullshit!! Hardly ANY of the lyrics in heavy metal are "evil," most are quite christian! Listen to some while reading the ******* lyrics and stop judging things!!
Worse than the old ladies at my chruch....but after I showed them the lyrics....they finally understood and embraced it. (soon after, they hired a band for the 'young folks' to listen to)

not all of it there are christian heavy metal bands out there that dont curse and sing about bad thing ..... some are : norma jean , demon hunter, as i lay dying, underoath u should check them out also there is emery and extol but i done much like them there weird but are christian too.but other than christian heavy metal i dont listen to heavy metal because honesty it is bad an satanic and i dont listen to thing like that mostly i listen to hard rock anyway

Of course not. In all likelihood, there is more evil amongst those who decry it than there is amongst those who write, perform and record heavy metal music.
