Records like that are totally program independent. It doesn't matter which browser you use, or even which operating system.
You can thank the wonderful Patriot Act for this bit of invasiveness. Virtually all ISPs do this now and many of them will turn the records over to the government without question.

Browser doesn't matter. But it doesn't matter anyway. It's not like they're building a giant database of the websites individual people go to. There'd be no point to that and no funding.
Phone companies keep phone records, stores keep customer records, it's always been done. The only solution is moving away to a deserted island if you want to avoid it.
Also, To the second answerer, if they make porn illegal (which will never happen anyway) you wouldn't be prosecuted because it wouldn't have been illegal when you did it. Only when committing an illegal act AFTER the law is enacted can you be penalized for it.

No. Comcast is your ISP that you are using to access the internet. Regardless of web browser, they can still keep a copy of certain details.

why you care, as long as you are not going to terrorst websites or hacking into other peoples **** they arent going to go looking at your logs.
