FAMILY GUY IS THE BEST!! I used to be a hardcore Simpsons fan and I still love the first 13 seasons but The Simpsons now suffer from Gorge Lucas' disease. Matt should get rid of all the new writers which are taking a huge dump Star Wars style on my once beloved show. Until then Family Guy rules the cartoon world unchallenged. Thank God Family Guy was uncanceled!!!

Let's see: The Simpsons is a classic show that has been on tv for around 19 years and has over 400 episodes. And Family Guy has around 4 seasons of material that is ripped off of The Simpsons and South Park, with constant jokes that have no relevance to the plot. I do like Family Guy, but it's not in the same league as The Simpsons.

The family guy is just a poor imitation of The Simpson's. Family Guy doesn't have the qualities that make the Simpson's more than just sitcom and at times more of a documentary. The producers of Family Guy racked up a long list of failures, like Gilbert (dilbert), Duck Man, etc which lacked any of the charm or subtlety of the Simpson's. Only after they ripped off the successful formula of the Simpson's have they struck success.

I think as of right now family guy is the funniest. I still prefer the simpsons though over family guy. It is the most original and has a very long history. The type of humor used by the simpsons is original not like the parody humor of family guy.

I like the simpsons but the family guy has better humor but i am not allowed to watch it so i pick simpsons it is a classic.

I love the Simpson's and have watched it since it began on the Tracey Ullman Show. But now I lean towards Family because the people that are on the show are like people that we probably all know in our lives. I'm sure we all know someone that's a horn dog like Quagmire. Or as UN-politically correct as Peter. And thanks to viewers that love the show Family Guy was the first show in television history to have ever been canceled, then re-aired, that says alot.
