well i was freaking out cuz my gf and i have been going out and talking nearly everyday i talked to my friend and she thinks shes on her period. the past 2-3 days she has been silent, wont even say hi when i text her (we go to different schools) when the day before she was talking like crazy. we were up til 2 in the morning txting. which kinda makes sense if she is. also she hasnt said i love you or anything much, like shes holding back cuz her emotions. i tried to text her today and she did twice but then said she had to go even though her lunch break hadent ended. she hasnt called back or messaged me or read the messages when she did 3 days ago. could she be on her period? if she is im lucky as hell cuz we had a date 4 days ago. lol. please help. also should i say that i wont get mad at her if im right?

Some girls have horrible periods...I use to. They are so painful and uncomfortable that it makes you feel really vunerable and depressed. It can make you feel so repulsive and unattractive, you want to curl up and die, and if you have a boyfriend you feel sure he doesnt like you. This might be why she is avoiding you and asking if you love her...she feels really insecure at the moment.
Dont bring up periods...it really hurts to be told you are acting hormonal and grumpy, coz often it isnt the hormones, its the pain and yuckness of it all that make you sad and grumpy.
If she wants to discuss these issues with you, she will bring it up. Keep to just a few texts each day untill she is herself again. Get her a cuddly teddy bear/toy puppy dog (doesnt have to be big or expensive) and some chocolate...delivered to her door if you can afford that...or if not just get them to her ASAP...dont expect her to get all happy straight away...if she has really nasty periods she will be really worn out right now.
In a few days she should be herself again. Just be there for her...DONT MENTION PERIODS...its like teasing a guy if he cant get an erection....it can be quite insulting.
Best of luck.

OK, lol... You are young... It's ok, my friend... but the last thing she wants right now is you saying "oh, you're having your period so I'll shut upll" cuz she doesn't want you to know. Let her know that whatever she's going through, you want to know, so you can be a part of it... ok? If you are in love with her, let her know, and be with her... no matter what... that's what love is, not the easy times, but the hard times.... that's love. Are you ready? Make sure before you jump in... that's the best advice I can give... It' won't be fun, but it's worth it in the end... it really is.

well she might not show signs of pregnancy this early.. if she was pregnant she would be about 2-3 weeks. her chances of being pregnant without any birth control or condoms, its high. If you guys aren't ready for a baby then she should get on birth control or you guys need to start using condoms b/c pulling out is not 99% effective in preventing pregnancy..

Hate to break it to you but this is NOT period related. She doesnt feel like talking to you for some reason or another. Let her be for a couple of days... seems like something is bothering her.
And just a tip for you, NEVER bring up the 'period' with a girlfriend, unless you want to get yelled at. Just not cool.

She could just be really busy with classes and such or her phone could be dead. Mine has been dead for a week because I haven't bothered to charge it.
I wouldn't worry about it or press too much. Maybe she just wants a little bit of space.
If it is her period, then she will contact you when she is feeling more up to it.
Don't worry, she still loves you!

It's possible, but I certainly would not mention it to her. Women hate to hear that.
More than likely, she just doesn't want to spend all of her time texting you. She may even be upset with you for something. Ask her if something is bothering her.

Sounds like she's just lost interest in you or she has something else going on. If she is moody like this due to her period, she needs to see a doctor. That drastic a change in behaviour is a little atypical.

fyi....try not acting like you understand our period and the emotional levels that go on....cause you dont and never will....sometimes we dont even know how to feel or act while all these hormones are running through us....it's kinda like you trying to imagine giving birth, kinda hard because you dont have the parts right? well you also dont have those hormones either.....it's like us trying to imagine the pain you guys feel when you get hit in the nuts....we cant and you know it right?

you sound too young to be having sex if you can't even call your girlfriend and ask her what is wrong. Stop texting her and pick up a phone!
