Try the rite-click save target as if tht doesnt work then try installing firefox with an addon called plug-in which extracts media files on a web page for u to download them and if tht doesnt work then get the latest version of real player and open the webpage in real player tht wil work i guess.

Hi, its very simple. 'Real' company had specially designed files associated with .rm, .smil for streaming purpose, so they have made it very difficult to download the files to your computer.

Best option that I will suggest is to
1. get download manager as 'Flashget' from this link (http://www.download.com/FlashGet/3000-2071_4-10687161.html )

2. Then, paste the link in Flashget - download manager. That's it. done.

Ok, and if you come across any files ending with .ram extension, then first copy the link location of .ram files. Open notepad go to 'File -> Open' and the paste the link location in open dialog box.

After that hit 'Open' button, wait once file is opened, and copy the another link location ending with .rm extension. And now paste this address ending withh .rm into 'Flashget' thats it. again done.

Hope this works, Mostly it will. I checked it works on my comp.

That's a RealMedia file. You'll need RealPlayer, which sucks. Try vlc... it's a free media player that will play pretty much anything.

There are two methods to get through this problem. if you are using firefox then ,when we try to open the file it generally tell to download it .so we can get it
or else if you want to extract the media of a website directly then you can opt for the following add-ons for firefox.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1468
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4318
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006

The second method consists if the method in which it requires to right-click the required media file and click on the option "Save Target As" or "Save Link As". then choose the directory you want and save it.
