On a serve, a tennis ball leaves Serena Williams racket at 65.0 m/s. If the ball's mass is 0.0600kg it is in contact with the racket for 0.300s, what's the average force on the ball?

Ft = mv

F(.3) = (.06)(65)
F = 13N

The 1st answer is correct for the data given, but the data doesn't pass a sanity test. How could the ball possibly stick around for 0.3 s? In that time it would travel something like 0.5*65*0.3 = 9.75 meters! Did you mean 0.003 s? In that case the force would be 1300 N.
