You will have to get a router that supports dual modems. There are several that have the feature. Netgear has one FVS124GNA (actually they have more but that is one of them) as does AirEpoch Internet Gateway and a couple of others. I have used both the Netgrear and the AirEpoch they are easy to setup.
Dlink has one DI-LB604 4-Port Load Balancing Router which I haven't tried.

Just do a search for "Dual port DSL routers" you will find several.

You HAVE to have two full DSL lines to use this, two lines, two modems, two accounts. What the routers do is a very simple load balancing trick based on the IP's issued on the LAN side. In simple terms, they keep track of how many connections are in use and split those between the two DSL modems.

They come in handy for heavy use areas!

Technically possible yes, but ony 1 can be set to assign DHCP addresses on the network. You would also require 2 ADSL lines. If you simply need more network ports that the 1 modem provides, buy a simple network switch. unless you really know how to configure load balancing on a server then I would say the headachews of 2 ADSL connections in 1 network would outweigh the advantages, better to simply get a faster adsl connection.

Tracy is 100% correct. It is great for large networks with alot of internet connections, it keeps congestion to a min.

I have used the D-Link and it has a very user friendly interface that allows control over the two internet connections you usually only get from a internet server.

You can't do this, the broadband protocol only allows 1 connection, with 2 you will probably lose the connection totally.

why?
there is no reason to do this
if you found an extra modem and want to hook it up
it wont work

In theory you could, but why would you want to?
