Yes, war is the answer for everything!
Lets kill thousands more of innocent people, including children all over the Globe so that American children can sleep safely and the economy keep ticking... duh.
Change your foreign policy. There is more than one country on a planet with 6.5 BILLION people. And they are not all "terrorists".

Have money? Want to invest in something with high-earning potential? Invest in American defense companies. Corporate America - the behemoth that tugs at the Executive's strings - is hell-bent on the war-as-a-monopoly military industrial complex for the foreseeable future.

Capitalism and the status quo don't mix, and since the decline of homeland American assets - oil, in particular, but also technology and farming - Corporate America needed direction. Couple that with the threat of Russia's iron grip over energy distribution in Eastern Europe and China's insatiable lust for everything, and Uncle Sam and Co. is feeling threatened. Right now, in Iraq, they're securing existing markets for predominantly American corporations. They want to do the same in Iran, and elsewhere. They are protecting their "hard earned" foreign assests from the future threat of aggressive economic ties with less desirable customers. The enemies they make on the way, like the so-called "Al Qaeda", are just another investment opportunity.

"Victory" here isn't about defeating terrorism - it's about capital gains. Defense-corporate-America want more terrorsts, not less - supply and demand, y'know? (The likes of Blackwater USA are in business to make money, not a safer world.) And terrorism will remain a convenient excuse until the US sees massive growth in dwindling industries back home. And that probably won't happen in my life-time. If ever.

So let your money work for you: invest in slaughter and reap the short-term rewards. Then build yourself a private army, because you may need it to protect your children one day. After all, every "cause" has an effect.

Your absolutely right . We need to protect our children's future. We need to over come NOW before they want to send my five year old son in 13 years to finish what we should have done now.
