in pokemon diamond, would this be a pretty good team?

the three starting pokemon in the game, all at their 3rd stage
staraptor
luxray (the lightning pokemon)
dialga

i know this isnt the best combination, but i just want to know if its descent. im also open to suggestions about modifications. i just want close to the best pokemon for many types. i dont know much about the game, because i havent bought it yet, about the other pokemon.

Your team is balanced and decent. The only suggestion I'd make is to get rid of either Straraptor or Luxray and get a psychic type. You'll need a psychic type to level out your team and since you already have Toterra, a grass type, you won't need an electric type (aganist the elite 4, they're not as needed as grass types).

Alakazam.

Not really because a high leveled Garchomp can take out 5 maybe all of your pokemon. A good team would be:
Empoleon
Crobat
Roserade
Lucario
Raichu
and a Fire type.

It is decent, but legendary pokemon are usually tougher than any other! Usually the best idea to form teams using them, although using that combination also works well. The three starters get tough.
