yes it sucks so much and it has been done to death.its just a money maker for the studiosand anybody who cares about the quality of films today should avoid these movies at all costs.if stupid teen age boys and their dates had half a brain they wouldnt go see these films, addams family,car54,the little rascals eg.if they werent making money from them they wouldnt make them.and all you see on this web site are stupid questions about pirates of the caribien 3.i am really suprised that such a good actor as johnny depp would stoop so low.as somebodty once put it"if they were good enough to be movies in the first place, they wouldnt be t.v.shows!"

YES!
GREAT QUESTION!
Look...some of the shows we loved..some we did not. But come on the reason they were loved/liked/etc most of the time was for the original characters/actors!
I DO NOT want to see Ashton Kucher as "THE FONZ" in the Happy Days movie or whatever. Henry Winkler was the The Fonz PERIOD. Sigh.
Bob Denver was Gilligan...Jim Carrey will NEVER be Gilligan!
Sigh... Speaking of Jim Carrey...he was TERRIBLE (imo) as The Grinch. That film was awful. Any more when someone like Carrey or Robin Williams is in a film they play themselves not a character.
So...when I want to watch Bewitched I will pull out a DVD and watch Elizabeth Montgomery, Dick York and the weak Derwood Dick Sargent, and of course...the great Agnes Moorehead - NOT the lame film from 2000 and something.
Same goes for McHale's Navy, Beverly Hillbillies (come on Buddy Ebsen IS Jed Clampett well..and Barnaby Jones) and nobody beats Irene Ryan as Granny and they NEVER will.
Anyway... Hollywood...we love our movies and we love our TV, but we love them separately!

Hi. I think one of the reasons they remake old movies is they are targeted to to-days young people who probably have never seen the original and don't intend to.Of course they want to make a lot of money as well.I have never seen a remake as good as the original even though it may have super special effects.I would not bother with remakes of TV shows .l agree they must be running out of ideas but even the new original ones are much the same .Most of them are rubbish in my opinion.
Thank goodness we can watch the originals in our Home Theaters. Most of them are made with new negatives and re-recorded with Dolby Digital.

Yeah, they're aldreading doing that and that they could desire to nevertheless proceed and make a action picture for ''The workplace'' and another super shows, previous and youthful. can no longer anticipate the ''Arrested progression'' action picture! additionally they could desire to make a ''kinfolk guy'' action picture too!

Yeah, probably. The problem is, they're sure-fire money makers for the most part. The riskier movies may make the bigger successes, but they're also bigger flops if they don't catch.
